- Turkey Tail

Turkey Tail
Turkey tail grows on dead logs all around the world. The Latin name for Turkey Tail is Trametes versicolor or Coriolus versicolor which means “of many colors”. That’s because turkey tail has colored rings that look a lot like the tail of a turkey. While there are many different strains of Trametes, turkey tail is the most interesting to scientists and herbalists as it has been used in Chinese medicine for hundreds of years to reduce phlegm, clear dampness, increase energy and boost the immune system.
